Now you can manage your spuds without losing them or damaging them when trying to turn them or remove them from the fire - we've all lost the odd spud or stuck a spade through em at some stage. Manufactured from steel weldmesh with 25mm x 25mm x 2mm mesh and removable 6mm x 220mm long steel handle the SpudMate is designed to hold 8 good size spuds comfortably. The handle fits into the steel mesh easily making placement of the SpudMate into the coals a simple process, the handle is removed while the spuds bake. Wrap your spuds in aluminium foil and place in the SpudMate basket, fit the handle, with a slight back pressure the weight of the spuds lock the basket on the prongs and it can be lifted across to the fireside. The trivet lifter is manufactured from steel and designed to suit both the large and medium sized Hillbilly trivets as used in the camp oven. The two prongs locate in the laser cut holes of the trivet, either near the centre or on the edge, with a slight back pressure the weight of the scones locks the trivet on the prongs and it can be lifted up and out of the camp oven.
